Marketing Communication Executive

Role Summary

Marcom executive will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing communication strategy of IKON and its clients. He/She will be also responsible for developing and delivering communication messages among the target audience, coordinating and maintaining relationship with clients, strategic partners, the media, and industry associations across India and globally.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing a marketing communication plan for IKON and its clients
  • Conducting market research to develop a marketing communication strategy and plan
  • Creating unique messages for each target audience, message theme and its format.
  • Developing content for internal and external communication initiatives, including the corporate and product brochure, marketing materials, website, newsletters, press releases, announcement, media queries and other communication & PR materials
  • Lead the creation of marketing collaterals with the help of in house team and external resources
  • Lead the delivery of corporate announcements, news releases, expert opinion, newsletters, articles and other communication messages
  • Identifying media opportunities in the mainlines, tabloids, websites, regional, channels and maximizing media mileage
  • Writing articles and publish it through blogs and other online and offline media
  • Creating the concept of promotional activities and execute it for both offline and online channels
  • Coordinating with creative agency and other service provider to execute a marketing communication plan
  • Building and maintaining positive relationship with news media, strategic partners, industry association, vendors and other key stakeholders
  • Developing and Implementing Digital Marketing plan
  • Checking heath of content and editing periodically
  • Assisting Seniors in their need of market insights, data/information and other consulting work as and when require

Required Capabilities:

  • Master degree in marketing or mass communication
  • Min 1-3 years of working experience as Marcom in any advertising or PR agency, news media, management consulting firm or corporate house
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
  • Creative and Proficient in developing key messages and content for marketing materials, advertising, corporate announcement, newsletters and press releases
  • Sound knowledge of online and offline advertising, PR and promotional activities
  • Experience in Digital Marketing including social media, blogs and other digital marketing tools
  • Proficiency in English & Hindi language
  • Must be competent with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to handle multiple projects independently and as a part of a team
  • Effective time-management skills with ability to meet deadlines
