Market Research Analyst

Role Summary

Market Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting market research to create insights about industry, consumer and competition as well as the client’s business. He will be identifying the sources of data and information, collecting and analyzing it and preparing reports, which are easily digestible, visually appealing and actionable for the clients. He will be also responsible for understanding client’s requirements and developing sound research proposals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Understanding the client’s requirements and preparing the technical proposal
    • Designing and executing research projects related to market assessment, business analysis, consumer Insights and as per the requirements of seniors and clients
    • Designing questionnaire and lead the data/information gathering, ensuring the necessary data is captured
    • Identifying, collecting and organizing data/information from primary & secondary sources by own and with the help of field workers and research associates
    • Reviewing data to ensure its quality and integrity
    • Conducting in depth analysis using Excel or any other statistical software
    • Preparing detailed report/insights and presentation of research findings with actionable recommendations
    • Conducting a market study of various industry sectors and preparing market insights, white papers for IKON’s research publication
    • Assisting Seniors in their need of market insights, consumer insights, data/information and other consulting work as and when require
    • Lead and train a team of research associates and other junior team members

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

    • MBA in marketing with 4-6 years of experience in market research with any reputed market research or management consulting firm
    • Sound knowledge and experience of conducting market research for different industry sectors
    • Strong business analysis and data analytical skills
    • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
    • Ability to handle research project independently and as a part of a team
    • Effective time-management skills with ability to meet deadlines
